December’s Full Supermoon ushered in the PSOV Annual Meeting on December 4th with a full Board, elected by the membership. The Board appointed a new Mountain Troubadour Editor, PSOV Archivist, and Membership Chair. President Joy will be stepping aside on January 1st, and Cindy Ellen Hill will be our new PSOV President. Buffy Aakaash was appointed Editor, while Sarah Donegan became our Archivist and Jannetta Lamourt, Membership Chair. Elizabeth McCarthy was re-elected as Web Manager/Administrator, as was David Hartnett for Executive Secretary. The 2026 PSOV Board has a healthy mix of poets who are familiar with the operations and those who wish to help us bring energy in this upcoming year.

In addition, the PSOV Constitution & Bylaws were amended and ratified by the full membership. The new text clarifies the organization’s governance by expanding its philosophical scope, shifts to a rolling dues cycle, removed detailed job descriptions from the bylaws, and made the Web Manager/Administrator an appointed position. The Board also presented several PSOV Annual Reports for 2025.
