Unless otherwise noted, membership benefits include; a complimentary copy of The Mountain Troubadour, free PSOV contest submissions and admission to most workshops.
- Regular Membership
- Regular members pay $40 for a year’s membership.
- Student Membership
- Student members pay $20 for a year’s membership.
- Hardship Membership
- Hardship members pay $20 for a year’s membership. This is offered for members who are experiencing financial difficulty. Some examples of financial hardship that qualify, include: Unemployment, Reduced income, Housing insecurity, Medical expenses, Natural disasters, Divorce, Death, and Military deployment, etc…
- Patron Membership
- Patron members pay $60 for a year’s membership. A Patron Member is offered to those who wish to provide additional support which will help offset the cost of hardship memberships.
- Emerging Poets Membership
- This membership is awarded to winners of the POL (Vermont Poetry Out Loud) contest. Recipients of this membership do not pay membership dues. He/she /they cannot vote.
- Honorary Membership
- Honorary Memberships are given to Past Presidents who have given years of service to the PSOV, serving in many capacities beside the President. Honorary Members do not pay membership fees. This membership includes a complimentary copy of The Mountain Troubadour but does not include complimentary workshop fees.
- PSOV Student Intern
- A student Intern does not pay membership dues. A student intern is chosen by the Mountain Troubadour editor. He/she/they cannot vote.
