Poetry Society of Vermont members have 12 opportunities to submit poems for possible publication in The Mountain Troubadour, the Poetry Society of Vermont’s annual journal. The submissions & contests include:
- Troubadour Submissions: (December – January 31st)
- General Submissions: submit up to two poems which are reviewed and scored by the Editorial Board, the top placed finishers are published in The Mountain Troubadour.
- Previously Published Poems: one poem, winners selected by the PSOV Editor.
- Short Listed Poems*
- Spring & Fall Contests: (May & October)
- one poem, top ten poems selected by Members’ Choice Vote.
- Summer Contests: (June – July)
- seven themed contests, submissions typically opening in June. Winners & Honorable mentions chosen by independent judges.
- Troubadour Awards**

**Troubadour Awards: this is not a submission, each summer two outside judges select the Davis & Peach Awards from the previous year’s Mountain Troubadour, Selected Works poems.
