The Poetry Society of Vermont (PSOV), a charitable non-profit, is seeking dynamic and dedicated leaders to help guide our vibrant community and champion the art of poetry throughout the state. We currently have openings for three key positions on our Executive Council (Board).
This is the central leadership role, responsible for the smooth operation and growth of the PSOV. The President provides strong leadership for the Board, ensures compliance with the Constitution & Bylaws, and addresses the organization’s mission and vision.
The term is two years, beginning on January 1, 2026, and running until December 31, 2027. This is an elected position whose names of candidates will be included in the membership voting ballot this fall.
The Membership Chair is responsible for managing all membership-related activities, focusing on growing and maintaining our membership base. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are key.
The Archivist plays a crucial role in preserving the history and intellectual property of the PSOV. This appointed executive board position involves the systematic organization, maintenance, and accessibility of all PSOV documents and media, leveraging PSOV non-profit Google Workspace.
If you have a passion for poetry and a commitment to the mission of the Poetry Society of Vermont, we encourage you to consider one of these opportunities!
