Celebrate the Launch of the 2026 Mountain Troubadour!

June 27 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Invite to 2026 Mountain Troubadour book launch

The Poetry Society of Vermont invites you to an afternoon of poetry as we celebrate the release of our latest anthology, the 2026 Mountain Troubadour  published by Rootstock Publishing 2026. Whether you are a featured poet, a dedicated member, or a lover of the written word, we welcome you to join us for this special event.

This event is a celebration of PSOV poetry! All members are encouraged to attend, connect with fellow writers, and pick up your copy of the 2026 edition. (each year members receive a free copy of TMT, if you can not attend one will be mailed to you.)

If you have a poem featured in this year’s Mountain Troubadour, we would love to hear your voice.

  • Sign up to read: Members with published poems in the 2026 edition are invited to share their work during the program.

    Signup Herehttps://forms.gle/XuaZokNR1aJo8V9Z9

  • At the door: We will also have a sign-up sheet available at the door, but we encourage you to sign up early online.

Come for the poetry, stay for the conversation, and help us kick off the 2026 Mountain Troubadour in style. We look forward to seeing you there!

Help Us Prep for the Summer Festival!

While you’re celebrating at the Troubadour book launch, please stop by our interactive preparation table to help us gear up for our August 8th Summer Festival: Gathering Voices (full festival details can be found here).

The Summer Festival will feature an all day print making event using a roller-press and letterpress, and we need your help gathering materials so that John Vincent of Revolutionary Press can make custom, handmade paper ahead of time!

How you can help at the launch table:

  • Punch some paper: Spend a few minutes using a paper punch on old copies of The Mountain Troubadour. These punched pieces will be incorporated directly into the new handmade paper.
  • Bring fabric donations: Please bring any cotton or linen shirts or sheets you can spare. These will be broken down and used in the papermaking process.
