Woodstock Poetry Festival

reflection

The Poetry Society of Vermont is excited to have had the opportunity to be part of this year’s Woodstock Poetry Festival where several members read their poems on Friday afternoon in The North Chapel, and where board members and member volunteers engaged with festival attendees at the PSOV Table sharing the benefits of joining the Poetry Society of Vermont. The Mountain Troubadour 2024 was a popular item for sale at the table, as well as PSOV member books.

A few PSOV members’ favorite poems were included in the window display at the The North Chapel including; “Divine Sculpture” by Emory Jones, “Bless the Ordinary Life” by Peggy Brightman, and “the soul selects her own society” by Emily Dickinson submitted by Elizabeth McCarthy.
