Editorial Board
Elizabeth McCarthy lives in northern Vermont with her husband where they raised two children. Retired from teaching in 2019, she turned to poetry when the pandemic closed the world down and time became a windfall. She is a member of the Poetry Society of Vermont and an online member of The Lockdown Poets of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Elizabeth’s manuscript, “Digging Potatoes,” was shortlisted for the Hunger Mountain: VCFA May Day Mountain Chapbook Series in 2021. Her self-published a poetry memoir, “The Old House,”was published in 2020, and her chapbook “Winter Vole” was published by Finishing Line Press in November 2022. Elizabeth’s upcoming chapbook, “Hard Feelings” will be published by Finishing Line Press in 2024.
