| Please join me on Tuesday, May 13th at the T.W. Wood Art Gallery, 46 Barre St., Montpelier, Vermont from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. In addition to the release of my second volume of poetry, The Poem of the World (Kelsay Books, 2025), this is the inaugural offering of the Gallery’s new monthly lecture series T.W. Wood Speaks. My presentation will be: Discovering a Voice (Preaching, Advocacy, Policy Development, Public Discourse, Poetry) How do different uses of language relate to and interact with each other? How does a writer who has used them all find their own voice? I will use poems from my new volume, and from my award-winning first volume Safe as Lightning to illustrate my discussion. Time for feedback and light refreshments will follow. This event is free and open to the public. The Poem of the World will be available for purchase at the event or you can order in advance here.
