DEADLINE: VALENTINE’S DAY! February 14th, 2019

PSOV MEMBERSHIP is required—please make sure your dues are current.

LINE LIMIT: 40 lines, including stanza breaks and title. Longer poems will be rejected.

MAXIMUM: 3 Poems. (All must have titles.)

            OR: 5 haiku. (If submitting both poems and haiku, send no more than 3 total.)

SUBMIT: Send a cover letter in the body of an email with all poems in one attachment (doc or docx), with your name as you wish it to appear in the Troubadour, via email to:             troubadoursubmissions@poetrysocietyofvermont.org

(If unable to attach a Word document, please paste poems into the body of an email and indicate any formatting such as italics or stanza breaks that might be lost.)

FONT TYPE & SIZE: Times New Roman, 12. Single space only except for breaks.

NOTE: In addition, members may submit one previously-published work and one translation, labeled as such. Previously-published work should include the place and date of first publication. The translation should include the poem in its original language in addition to the English. The translating poet is responsible for all legal requirements such as copyright.
