SPRING LUNCHEON & WORKSHOP

The May 2 Spring Workshop is cancelled. However you may submit a spring poem to be voted on by members and to receive a critique.

 

Poet David Weinstock will be our PSOV Workshop Critic and will be commenting on all of the submitted poems. Weinstock lives, writes and teaches in Middlebury, where he leads the long-running Otter Creek Poets open workshop. His poems have appeared in MomentRiding the MeridianModern Haiku, The Journal of the American Medical AssociationLyric, and Monterey Poetry Review. He is the author of a book-length collection, The Amalek Poems, published online.

 

PLEASE SEND YOUR POEMS —DEADLINE  FRIDAY, May 1st 

Send one poem, any style, any topic, but please limit your poem to 40 lines, including title and all breaks. Use Times New Roman 12,SINGLE SPACED. Try to keep the poem compact with NO long lines, for formatting in the Second Call. Email your poems pasted in body of email or as an attachment to workshop@poetrysocietyofvermont.org.
